The Katsina Police Command in collaboration with repentant cattle rustlers led by one Sani Muheddinge have succeeded and rescued one Maryam Ado, f, aged 11yrs of Kunkunna-Bayan-Dutse village, Safana LGA of Katsina State from the hands of kidnappers after exchange of gun fire.
The Police recalled that three days ago bandits numbering six, armed with AK 47 rifles, attacked the said village and abducted the victim into Rugu forest. The team succeeded and rescued her unhurt. She has since been reunited with her family. Investigation is ongoing the Police said.
