Former Kwara United coach, Samson Unuanel, has attributed the elimination of Super Eagles from the Qatar twenty, twenty- two FIFA World Cup to lack of modern football tactics on the interim boss of Super Eagles, Austin Eguavoen.
Unuanel, said Eguavoen should have switched his tactics when the match was not going in his team’s favour, stressing that there was no urgency from the players as Eguavoen also failed to switch tactics when the Black Stars of Ghana took control of the midfield.
The coach, said it was sad that the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the Qatar twenty, twenty- two FIFA World Cup, adding that the team deserved to win the match with the quality of players invited for the matches.
However, Nigeria’s teeming football fans, invaded the pitch of Moshood Abiola Stadium and destroyed some sports facilities, following the elimination of Super Eagles from the Qatar twenty, twenty- two FIFA World Cup.
Ghana, Cameroon, Senegal, Morocco and Tunisia are the five African football teams to feature at the Qatar twenty, twenty- two FIFA World Cup
