The Police in Akwa Ibom, has effected the arrest of a 20-year-old Uduak Akpan, over the death of Hindy Umoren; a job seeker who went missing recently.
Umoren went missing after she went for a job interview, but later discovered buried in a shallow grave.
Spokesman of the Akwa Ibom Police Command, Odiko MacDon confirmed the development.
The Police PRO disclosed that the suspect had owned up to the crime; adding that he had lured the victim to his house under the guise of giving her a job.
However, he had ended up sexually and physically assaulting her, leading to her death. Thereafter, he had dragged her remains and buried her in a shallow grave in his father’s compound.
