The new Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Lagos State Command, Barr. Callys O. Alumona has called on stakeholders to cooperate with the Agency in its fight against drug abuse and other crime and criminalities in Lagos.
He made the call when he visited the Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Lagos State Command in his office in Alausa.
The visit was to familiarize himself with the Command and consolidate and solidify on the existing working relationship that was already established.
During the visit Alumona sought for more supports in information sharing, manpower when the need arise and synergy.
He stated that the NSCDC personnel are almost everywhere in Lagos which makes them vital in informations gathering from the very base of the society.
In his response the Commandant stated that he will do his best that the two Agencies work together to pulfil the mandate of securing Lagos residents and their properties as well as Government infrastructures.
He maitained that no Security Agency that is an island and that all must work together for the desired results to be achieved in the fight aginst crime and criminality in the State.
