The Lagos State Police Command while responding to emergency call by one Ayanda Yemi ‘m’ of Road A, House 1, Green Heaven Estate Alatise town, Ibeju Lekki Lagos, made to Elemero Police Station that three armed robbers invaded his house and locked them inside a room, swooped into action to dislodge the criminals.
According to Bala Elkana Police Spokeswoman of the Command, said, “They tied him up and dispossessed him of his techno phone and car key. He raised alarm which attracted neighbours. One of the suspects, Ibrahim Hassan ‘m’ was instantly arrested while the remaining two escaped. Detectives, through a thorough and painstaking investigation arrested the two fleeing suspects. The suspects will be charged to Court.
In a different direction, a man was arrested for unlawful Possession of firearm.
Elkana, also said that operatives from Morogbo Police Station in another operation arrested one Liasu Raji ‘m’ a security guard attached to Luri filling station, toll gate, along Badagry express way”
The suspect was arrested with one English pump action and one single barrel riffle with ten rounds of live cartridges. Investigation is ongoing, the suspect will be charged to Court.
