The Lagos state police command has confirmed the mysterious death of Corporal Alias Agis in Lagos.
DSP Joe Offor Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Poloce Command in a statement said the policeman was found dead in his V/W Passat with Registration No. 489 AY where it was parked “at the entrance gate of high barracks Ikeja today 10th Nov 2015 by 0730hrs”.
The statment read, “The NCO CPL AGI ELIAS until his sudden death was attached to Safer high way patrol Lagos but on Corporal to Sergeant promotion course in Police Training School (PTS) Ikeja.
Preliminary investigations carried out so far revealed that tablets and some poisonous substances littered around his corpse while still inside his car.
