The ongoing #EndSARS protest across the country has recorded another casualty in Lagos.
An Assistant Commissioner Of Police and Area Commander, Area J, Ajah, ACP Olugbemi Gbolahan, sustained a severe injury on his leg when one of the protesters’ car ran over his leg in Ajah area of Lagos on Tuesday.
The protester was said to have been driving recklessly when he ran over the Area Commander who was on ground to monitor and provide security for the protesters.
It was believed that the said unidentified protester willfully drove his car, hit him and ran over him.
He was said to be receiving treatment at a hospital in Ajah area of Lagos State. In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, he urged protesters to be calm and orderly in Lagos State, adding that the Command would not be distracted from doing the right things at all times.
