Landover Aviation Business School (LABS), a division of Landover Company Limited has produced another Best Performer in Nigeria in the March 2019 diet of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Foundation in Travel and Tourism course.

This is coming barely three months after LABS graduated IATA Best Performer in Nigeria in the December 2018 diet of the same course. With this back-to-back feat, LABS re-asserts itself as the premier institution of aviation business training and human capacity development in Nigeria and West Africa.

Miss Deborah Oni, the best performing graduate, made a distinction in the March 2019 diet of IATA Foundation in Travel and Tourism course and became IATA Overall Best Performer in Nigeria. LABS had produced IATA Best Performer in Nigeria in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017 and most recently in 2018.

Mr. Ivica Kovacic, Head of Global Partnerships and Innovation at IATA Training, commended Miss Oni on her success. He said: “On behalf of IATA Training, I congratulate you on successfully completing the Foundation in Travel and Tourism course and acknowledge you as the student with the best performance in your country for the March 2019 exam session. As our Best Performer, feel free to use this recognition as a reference in any future job application. IATA Training will gladly act as referrer in your career journey.”

Also, Mrs. Aduke Atiba, Executive Director of Landover Company Limited, while presenting the Award of Recognition to Miss Oni at the School’s corporate headquarters in Lagos recently, noted with pleasure that all recent LABS’ awardees were female and this trend is simply a sign that women are increasingly taking their place in the industry. Applauding Miss Oni on her outstanding performance, Mrs. Atiba said: “This is a reward of hard work and excellent performance that is our trademark at Landover Aviation Business School. We are proud of your achievement.”

She equally encouraged the awardee to imbibe the attribute of a positive Attitude, Character and Exposure (A.C.E) as catalyst for greater success in life.

Interestingly, Mrs. Olajumoke Oni, the awardee’s aunt stated: “Landover Aviation Business School (LABS) is at the front-burner of aviation training in Nigeria and I am so glad that one of my children is among the excellent products of LABS and has just done really well by being the Best Performer in her diet.”

An exultant Miss Oni also enthused: “I was thrilled when I was told I was the Best Performer. Though I aimed for a distinction, but the Best Performer in Nigeria was out of my imagination. I give all glory to God for this achievement and appreciate my family as well as the friendly and competent instructors at LABS.  I plan to come back for the next level of the course while I continue running my travel agency business in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.”

Landover Aviation Business School, approved by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) as an Authorized Training Center in Nigeria, had been awarded an IATA Top Authorized Training Center in Nigeria in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

LABS offers courses all through the year facilitated by seasoned and specialized instructors. The School deploys latest technology and expertise in the highly dynamic global aviation industry in providing its students with world-class theoretical and practical training courses to empower them to become excellent and globally recognized aviation professionals.

In many instances, Landover Aviation Business School’s Alumni occupy leading positions in aviation in Nigeria and in West Africa. The School continues to push the frontiers of excellent aviation training in Nigeria and West Africa.
