The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI, says the 2022 Lagos International Trade Fair will come bigger and richer given the experience and feedback from this years outing.
President of the Chamber Mrs. Toki Mabogunje, in her remarks at the closing ceremony of the 2021 trade fair on Sunday November 14, “We have taken note of such as feedback into the strategy for the 2022 edition. We look forward to a better, bigger, and richer 2022 Lagos International Trade Fair.
In particular, Mabogunje, applauded the disposition and commitment of Mr Governor to the promotion of close collaboration between the Lagos State Government and the organised Private Sector in Lagos State.
She appreciated his inclusive approach to governance as well as the Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives, Hon (Mrs.) Lola Akande for her continued support and encouragement.
The president was also excited with support of other government agencies that provided useful and important services, which facilitated the staging of the 2021 Lagos International Trade Fair.
In particular was the cooperation of Lagos State Safety Commission for their collaboration and support in ensuring the observance of safety protocols at this fair as well as official partners and sponsors.
She also placed on record the impressive role played by the members of the Trade Promotion Board of the Lagos Chamber, under the able leadership of the Chairman, Mr Gabriel Idahosa.
The result of their commitment is the remarkable outcome that we have all witnessed for the past ten days. It is no doubt a very demanding project, she observed.
She stated that despite the numerous challenges that go with hosting a large exhibition like this, the Chamber endeavoured to ensure a hitch-free and successful Fair but however noted that as in most human endeavours, there may have been some areas for improvement.
