Liverpool are ready to give Mohamed Salah an improved deal to put an end to the speculations of him joining Real Madrid this summer

The 25-year-old Egyptian is the current top scorer in the Premier League so far with 28 goals in 31 games

With his new deal, he is expected to earn a whopping £200,000-a-week deal at Anfield next season

He was also instrumental to Egypt’s return to the World Cup after over a decade of non-qualification for the competition

Premier League campaigners Liverpool have reportedly agreed to offer Egypt international, Mohamed Salah an improved contract to stop him from being taken away by Real Madrid this summer.

The 25-year-old has been in red-hot form for the Reds since he joined them from AS Roma in a five year deal valued at €42 million last summer.

He has scored 28 goals in 30 Premier League appearances, and as it stands, he is the topping the EPL goal scorers chat ahead of Tottenham’s Harry Kane, who has 24 goals.

Meanwhile, Salah’s goal tally so far in all competitions so far this season has been taken to 36 goals – a performance that has attracted the Spanish League giants to him.

However, the Kop chiefs are prepared to give the Egyptian a bumper new deal worth about £200,000-a-week after a stunning first season at Anfield.

However, if this new deal is agreed by the parties involved, Salah will remain at Anfield Stadium next season according to the Mirror.

Earlier in the season, Salah told the media that he returned to the Premier League because he liked playing in the English league.

“I like the Premier League. It suits my style and I love playing here.”

And he will not be in a hurry to dump his Anfield side for his suitors from the Spanish League this summer.

Before joining Liverpool last summer, Salah scored 15 goals in 31 appearances in his last season with AS Roman, and by all standards, he has beaten that personal record, with so much more expected before the season ends in May
