Liya, Davido’s DMW First Lady Among Those Arrested In Lagos Club

Liya, the lady who is signed to Davido’s record label, DMW was pictured among club-goers arrested in Lagos; for flouting the COVID-19 rules.

Oriental News Nigeria, reports that the Lagos Police Command early Saturday raided a night club arresting fun seekers and club attendants.

Clubbing has been suspended in the state; as Lagos joins the rest of Nigeria to check the spread of COVID-19.

Lagos Police spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi who confirmed the arrest of the clubgoers said Commissioner of Police, Hammed Odumosu personally led his team on the midnight raid.

He also identified the club raided as Lounge 38, Bode Thomas, Surulere.

The female artiste who was recently signed to DMW by Davido, was among those arrested.

Liya recently became first female to sign officially with the male-dominated label, Davido Music Worldwide, DMW. Her officially unveiling was on Tuesday, October 6; where she also confirmed she is now a member of the popular coterie, 30 Billion Gang.

Introducing the first lady of the record label on social media, Davido wrote;

“Welcome officially to the party!

DMW 1st lady! @yes_liya from here it’s onwards and upwards!

On this day I make this promise to you.

Imma make you a global star! Never

Liya officially joined DMW in the latter part of 2020.
