The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a man for defiling a teenager (name withheld) of Power Line Itamaga Ikorodu.
Mother of the victim reported at Ikorodu Police Station that her 15 years old daughter (name withheld) was defiled by one Mr. Oyesanwo Sola ‘male’ 28years old of Grammar School Area Ikorodu.
The Police spokesperson DSP Bala Elkana stated further that the incident happened in the suspect’s shop along Ota Ona Itamaga road.
“The suspect is alleged to have inserted his fingers into the vagina of the victim”
“The survivor was taken to hospital for medical treatment and forensic examination”
Elkana noted that the suspect when arrested confessed to the commission of the crime.
The Commissioner of Police Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the immediate transfer of all the cases to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba for discreet investigation and diligent prosecution.
The CP maintained that the ongoing onslaught on criminal elements in Lagos State will be sustained.
