One defined by a conducive environment for manufacturing operations. We have jointly canvassed for improved productivity and competitiveness.
“Our close working relationship has been shaped by purpose and patriotism. For this and many other show of partnership and friendship, we are grateful and deeply appreciative.”
Ajayi-Kadir, said over the past decade, this platform has become a bridge between the manufacturing sector and the media, fostering dialogue, strengthening advocacy, and celebrating excellence in journalism.
“To our partners in the industry and business correspondents for continuing to weather the storm with us and championing our advocacy. You have been our worthy ally in the pursuit of national development, I commend your steadfastness and thank you immensely.
“In our today reality, the dynamics are changing. Looking inwards has become a national imperative. Sovereignty is being redefined and territorial borders are becoming endangered, just as the capability to be self-sufficient has become more entrenched. In the midst of this all is a sterling agreement that industrialisation remains our path to national growth and sustainability.
“Journalism remains a critical path to interrogating national discourse and we cannot have a wholesome outcome if we are not intentional and guided by ennobling principles that prioritise the wellbeing of the economy and the livelihood of our people. Speaking frankly, we want to encourage our partners not to consider the easy way of adapting stories and publishing, the hard work is also important. Rigorous analysis and investigative journalism is key. While the angle of story is important, depth is also critical. On the soft side, we still see many partners using our old logo long changed after our 50th anniversary in 2021. We are happy to always make inputs on all relevant issues and we caution that we should not outsource or neglect the depth of professional touch.” he said.
He said that in the course of the year 2026, MAN, will not only continue to actively monitor government decisions and be prompt in its response, but shall proactively work to anticipate and shape them, madding “The Nigeria First should not be a slogan it should be an actionable outcome. When we say buy MADE IN NIGERIA we truly mean that Nigerians and the leadership should prioritise Nigeria made products.”
