Lagos Police Command has arrested a man who allegedly killed an apprentice over five hundred naira, N500.
According to the spokesperson of the Lagos State Police DSP Bala Elkana, “on 25/02/2020 at about 1230hrs, one Rafiu Dauda ‘male’ of No 36 Alebiosu Street Ijegun, Satellite town reported at Elemoro Police Station that his apprentice Afeez Oluwole ‘male’ 33yrs old was stabbed on the right chest with broken bottle by one Kazeem Mustapha ‘male’ along Madoti Estate Fin-Niger, Satellite town, due to a minor misunderstanding over N500.
According to Elkana “Afeez Oluwole ‘male’ was rushed to Holy Family Hospital where he later died”.
The corpse was deposited at the mortuary for postmortem examination.
Elkana further stated that the suspect has been arrested and will be charged to Court.
