The Bariga Police Station has arrested a man for allegedly defiling a minor.
According to Spokesman of the Lagos Police Command Bala Elkana, the station received a complaint that one Amusa Hammed ‘m’ 22years old of No 7 Dassy Castro off Odunsi Street Bariga defiled a 17year old girl (name withheld ).
“She was taken to Mirabel Center Ikeja for medical treatment and forensic examination, where report showed that she was pregnant and had an abortion”
“The suspect was arrested by detectives from the Family Support Unit and he confessed to the commission of the crime and the Nurse who helped him in procuring the abortion was identified”
The police public relations officer stated that detectives are on her trail.
