Med View, FAAN, Sahcol, SON Nominated For Nigeria Transport Awards

Front line Nigerian airline, Med View airline and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), as well as Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL) and Standard Organisation of Nigeria, SON, have been nominated for recognition at the forthcoming 5th Nigeria Transport Awards and Lecture holding at Sheraton hotel, Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

A statement signed by the Managing Editor of Transport Day Newspaper, (organisers of the event), Mr. Frank Kintum, stated that “these players were nominated after carefully evaluating their contributions to the economy and society in the year under review”.

Kintum stated further that “aside the awards, the event will also feature a lecture by Dr. Oseme Oigiagbe, who is the Chairman of the Auto and allied sectoral group of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry”.

He explained that the annual lecture is Transport Day Newspaper’s way of contributing to the development of the transport and logistics sector of the economy.

Other players also nominated for awards include the Managing Director of Primero Transport Services Limited, Mr. Fola Tinubu; the Ogun state Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Commander Clement Oladele and the Registrar General of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Mr. Bello Mahmud.

Others to be recognised are Michelin tyre, First System Refinishes Limited, and the immediate past DG of National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC) .

Also on the list are Sifax Haulage, the Soole road transport cab, an Assistant Director with the Abuja Directorate of Road Traffic Services, Aregbesola Moruf Adewunmi among others.
