The Model United Nations Development Organization Plateau State chapter has awarded the Plateau Youth Council chairman Dr. Fabong Jemchang Yildam with a certificate of appreciation in recognition of exceptional leadership, commitment to youth development and capacity building in Plateau state, at his office in Azi Nyako Youth Centre Jos, on the 29th May, 2018.
The event which started at about 10:00 am and lasted for about an hour, had in attendance top executives of the Plateau Youth Council and also members and executives of MUNDO Plateau State Chapter.
Receiving the certificate from the state coordinator/ President of MUNDO Plateau, Ambassador Ponfa Miri, the PYC chairman charged youths in Plateau to engage in leadership and qualitative ventures so as to promote involvement in politics and political activities in the state. He also frowned against youths who are fond of awarding citizens who do not deserve awards for the sake of using such gestures to raise funds.
Also speaking, Ambassador Ponfa Miri thanked the PYC chairman specially for being a voice to the Plateau youths both home and abroad and for also being an agent of change and a strong catalyst for youth development in Plateau state.
MUNDO Plateau has awarded deserving citizens in a bid to encourage them to do more and to help foster good governance and social development in Plateau State.
