The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has warned the public that an ongoing recruitment exercise advertisement allegedly issued by the Commission is fake.
It said the advertisement is currently being circulated by certain dubious individuals through various online platforms.
“The Commission wishes to categorically state that this advertisement is false, misleading, and does not originate from NAICOM. The Commission has not authorized any recruitment exercise through the referenced platform or via any unofficial channels.” it said.
The Commission strongly advised the public to
1. Disregard the said advertisement in its entirety.
2. Refrain from submitting personal information or making any form of payment in response to such fraudulent notices.
3. Rely solely on official communication channels of NAICOM, including its verified website and recognized government platforms, for authentic information on recruitment and other activities.
The NAICOM reiterates that it does not engage in recruitment through unofficial or unverified online links, and will always publicize legitimate employment opportunities through reputable and authorized channels.
The Commission further warns that individuals or groups involved in the dissemination of such fraudulent information are engaging in unlawful activities and may be subject to legal consequences.
The public is therefore encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious recruitment claims to the appropriate authorities.
