The Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has taken thirty four of its prospective retirees through a 5-day workshop designed to prepare them for life after paid employment.
Facilitated by International Gazielle ltd, the workshop treated topics such as Health Management in Retirement; Preparing to Retire into a Business Venture/Vocation; Making a Will and Contributory Pension Scheme in Perspective.
Of the 34 participants in the workshop, 15 were drawn from headquarters, 5 from MMIA while the remaining 14 were from out stations across the country. According to the Director of Human Resources, Dr Uwem Akangson, this initiative is part of the holistic strategy of management to improve general welfare of staff, whether retired or in service.
