THE Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), has inaugurated a Safety Audit Committee to carry out periodic checks on its systems and navigational equipment at the nation’s airports.
The move is in line with requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
In a brief remark at the occasion, Managing Director (MD) of the NAMA Ibrahim Abdulsalam said the safety audit team which is made of experienced and tested personnel would ensure that all the agency’s equipment and systems receive safety audit at regular intervals in order to further enhance seamless and uninterrupted air navigation service provision
