The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) LAagos Command, has arrested a Lebanese National for recruiting Nigerian women for Labour/sexual exploitation in his home country.
This comes on the heals of the recently celebrated rescue and return of Omolola Ajayi , who had been falsely recruited as an English teacher only to be exploited as a domestic servant in Lebanon.
The NAPTIP Lagos Command also busted a baby sale racket apprehending the seller.
The Commander, NAPTIP Lagos, Mr. Daniel Atokolo has expressed dismay over activities of traffickers and has warned of its consequences as he warned that the agency would prosecute and punish offenders.
