NEM Insurance Profit Drops, Proposes 6 Kobo Per Share Dividend

NEM Insurance Plc has reported a decline of 66.10 percent in its Pretax Profit for the period ended December 31, 2015 from N1.766 billion recorded  in 2014 to N598.83 million recorded in the year under review.

Also, Profit after Tax dropped from N1.525 billion recorded in  same period of 2014 to N713.70 reported the same period of 2014; this indicating a drop of 53.21 percent.

But gross premium rose 10.76 percent from N9.836 billion reported in 2014 to N10.895 billion in 2015.

The company also recommended a dividend of N0.06 kobo per share to shareholders for the period ended December 31, 2015.
