NEMA’s Servicom Unit Holds Customer Care Management Workshop

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Servicom Unit under the Department of Special Duties has organized a sensitization workshop on customer care management for staff across departments.

 

The event was held at Merit House and chaired by the Director General of NEMA, Mrs. Zubaida Umar, with Directors and staff of Headquarters and Abuja Operations Office in attendance.

 

In her remarks, Mrs. Zubaida Umar expressed deep gratitude to NEMA staff for their tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the Agency’s mandate. She emphasized the central role staff play in serving the public and the utmost importance of ensuring that interactions with stakeholders and victims of disasters are conducted with professionalism and courtesy. The Director General also pointed out the need to serve citizens in distress with dedication and professionalism, highlighting the critical role NEMA plays in aligning its activities with Servicom values.

 

Mrs. Zubaida Umar also used the opportunity to highlight recent milestones achieved by the Agency in staff welfare and career development. .

 

Reaffirming the Agency’s commitment to staff capacity enhancement, Mrs. Zubaida Umar cited ongoing efforts to broaden training opportunities and build institutional capabilities. She encouraged staff to make the best use of these platforms to deepen their knowledge, hone their skills, and continue to deliver excellent service to the nation.

 

In her goodwill remarks, Mrs. Ngozi Akinbodewa, Head of Operations, Servicom, commended NEMA and its leadership for their proactive approach to Servicom issues. She expressed satisfaction with the agency’s focus on customer care and service excellence, describing it as a model for other institutions to emulate.

 

The workshop featured interactive sessions,and expert presentations aimed at fostering a customer-centric culture within the agency. It concluded with a renewed sense of motivation among staff and a collective commitment to upholding the highest standards of service and professionalism across NEMA, in line with Servicom values.
