He hails from Alimosho, in Alimosho LGA of Lagos State and holds Master of Science Degree in Sociology with specialization in Criminology from the University of Lagos, Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Sociology from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.

He is an Alumnus of the Prestigious National Institute for Policy and strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, Plateau state where he earned through dint of hard work the mni surfix. He has served the force in various including but not limited to the following, Operations officer in Lagos state Command, during the reign of Terror of notorious armed robber Sina Rambo, Teaching and Directing Staff at the Nigeria Police Premier Training Institution, that is, Police College Ikeja, and Divisional Police Officer both in Lagos and Ogun States; during the reign of terror of notorious Amani Tijani, a cross border bandit and Commanding officer-Squadron No 16 Police Mobile Force, among others.
