The newly appointed Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Mrs. Aderera Olayinka Adeyemi has paid a courtesy visit on the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu.
The visit which was in furtherance of the collaborative efforts of the Police and the Office of the Directorate of Public Prosecution in ensuring justice is served.
The AIG and members of the Zonal Police management team received the Director and her entourage in his office at the Zonal Command Headquarters, Onikan Lagos.
The Director commended officers of the Zonal command for the quality and proper investigation of cases and implored them to do more in the areas of Proper Police Investigation,preservation of evidences and Prosecution of Offenders of gender based.
The AIG in his response; reiterated the commitment and readiness of the Zone to collaborate in the Administration of Criminal Justice.
