In a bid to extend the frontiers of its operation and break new grounds in its relationship with Insurance Brokers, NICON Insurance Plc will be playing host to NCRIB Members during its August edition of Members’ Evening, holding at the Council’s Secretariat in Lagos.
The hosting of Insurance Brokers under the aegis of the NCRIB by NICON Insurance Plc would be quite symbolic, given the fact that it would be the first of such event to be hosted by NICON Insurance in the last decade.
The event would be a win-win event for both NICON and Insurance Brokers as it would facilitate harmonious relationship between both parties.
It is a known fact that insurance brokers constitute a crucial chain in the insurance industry in Nigeria given the enormous clientele controlled by them.
The NICON team would be led to the event by its Managing Director, Mr. Samuel Bayode, a consummate insurance practitioner who is expected to intimate Brokers with the new policy direction of the company, among other issues.
The President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), Mr. AyodapoShoderu hinted that the new Commissioner for Insurance, Alhaji Mohammed Kari would also be in attendance to address all the Chief Executive Officers during the meeting.
The Nigerian Insurance market is often referred to as Brokers market, given the fact that the professional intermediaries control more than 70 per cent of insurance business in the market
