Nigeria Celebrates As CIIN Unveils New Insurance Ambassador

Nigeria’s insurance sector is diversifying, and deepening initiatives that aims at driving and encouraging growth as well as celebrating individuals who have made unique contributions to insurance industry development.

The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, CIIN, has been resolute and sustainably encouraged hard work in the industry through innovative reward measures.

On the 24th of March, the CIIN, held in Lagos its nite of Talents, during when it unveiled its 2023 Insurance Ambassador.

Mr. Edwin Igbiti, President and Chairman of Council, of the Institute, in his opening remark at the event said the year 2023 Nite of Talents was a programme designed to be educative and at the same time exciting and full of celebration galore.

This social event serves as a platform to unwind, mingle and intellectually show self-worth of our young-minds, Igbiti said.

Key Council Members and individuals present at the event include, Chairman of the Occasion, Mr. Augustine Ebose, Managing Director, Anchor Insurance Plc; The Special Guest of Honour, Mr. Daniel Braie, MD Linkage Assurance Plc; the Guest of Honour, Mr. Ashish Mishra, Director @ Octamile; The Out-going Ambassador, Mr. Nuruden Jamiu Adewale.

The President said, “I am happy with the manner we all collaborated and converged here today to socialise. This is a great avenue for the Industry to merry and ease off the pressure of office work.

“Tonight, a new Insurance Ambassador will emerge, let us in one accord celebrate whoever becomes the NEXT AMBASSADOR. My dear contestants, you have all been screened, examined and so deemed fit to wear the crown, having in mind that this is a RACE and a WINNER must emerge. I urge you all to keep the team spirit, support whoever becomes the AMBASSADOR and be more committed towards increasing the insurance adoption level and moving the industry to lofty heights.”

Igbiti, at the occasion announced Aderonke Faidat Coker of Linkage Assurance Plc as winner, while Tolulope Aina Onaolapo of SCIB Nigeria and Company Limited was first runner up and second runner up was Babatunde Oluwatobi Salawu of SCIB Nigeria and Company Limited.
