Journalists covering the activities of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) are to benefit from a training workshop that would enable them sharp their skill on the field.
The workshop, scheduled to hold at the Training School of the Customs Service on January 13, 2020 in Lagos, is planned by the management of the Customs Service.
Accordng to report, the training workshop would centre purely on knowledge dissemination and interactive session.
One of the coordinators of the programme, ASC1 Jerome Attach confirmed the report in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday.
He said that Internationally renowned resource persons drawn from outside and within the Nigeria Customs Service will make paper presentations.
The statement reads, ” The one day training for journalists covering activities of Nigeria Customs Service will hold on Monday, January 13, 2020 as earlier stated.
The event will be a purely knowledge dissemination and interactive session.

Question and answer sessions as well as opportunities for airing and exchange of opinions on matters relating to customs activities like revenue collection, suppression of smuggling, trade facilitation, border security and other matters shall be discussed.
