Nigeria Records 226 Fresh COVID-19 Cases – NCDC

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 226 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 6401.

However, out of the 6401 cases, 1734 patients have recovered and subsequently discharged, while 192 others passsed on.

A breakdown of the 226 new cases of the pandemic shows that 131 were found in Lagos, 25 in Ogun State, 15 in Plateau, 11 in Edo, 7 in Kaduna, 6 in Oyo, 5 in Abuja, 5 in Adamawa, 4 in Jigawa, 4 in Ebonyi, 4 in Borno, 3 in Nasarawa, 2 in Bauchi, 2 in Gombe, 1 in Enugu and 1 case in Bayelsa.

Of the 6401 cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria, Discharged are 1734 Deaths: 192”, the NCDC said.
