Oil major, Shell says it is working around the possibility of taking Investment decision on a gas project in the Niger Delta region.
Managing director of Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC, Osagie Okunbor said the company was on the verge of making a final investment decision on a project in the city of Asa that would have the capacity of 300 million cubic feet.
Though, Okunbor did not disclose the size of fund required to drive the project, he said the company is putting emphasis on gas and reducing the oil portion of its footprint in Nigeria, even though Shell is a significant player in offshore acreage.
