NNANNA TAKES CHARGE OF AIRSPACE PLANNING AS ONWUAKPA BECOMES GM SAR

A minor shakeup in the Directorate of Operations of the Nigeria Airspace Management Agency (NAMA) has seen Mr Nnanna Ugbaga, formerly the ASM, Abuja station assume duties as GM, Airspace Planning.

He takes over from Mr Segun Ogunmola who is currently the Ag. Director of Operations. Also affected is Mr Marcel Onwuakpa, hitherto the ASM, Port Harcourt who takes over as GM Search and Rescue/CMC. Ugbaga began his career in 1981 as an ATC Assistant.

He holds a B.Sc in Political Science from the University of Calabar, apart from several ratings obtained in the course of training. Onwuakpa also joined the service in 1981. A highly experienced Air Traffic Controller with several ratings, he holds a B.Sc in Public Administration from the University of Abuja.
