Oil And Gas Experts To Discuss Local Content, Industry Digitization At SAIPEC Summit

Global Event Partners in partnership with Oil and Gas Republic has announced that The 5th Sub Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC) will take place between 3 – 5 March 2021.

SAIPEC is the largest gathering of the oil and gas value chain across Sub Saharan Africa, enabling all participants to develop business, strengthen and nurture partnerships and build collaboration for a prosperous future throughout the continent.

Following the ongoing global pandemic and oil price plunge, Global Event Partners, the event organizer, has reiterated its commitment that the SAIPEC 2021 will focus more attention on local content, technology, innovation, digital transformation, and key strategies for long-term sustainability in the region’s oil and gas industry.

According to GEP, over 60% of exhibition space has been rebooked onsite. The 2020 event attracted participation from more than 120 exhibitors from 40 countries and almost 4000 visitors including 20 National Oil Companies from Mozambique, Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Uganda, Angola, Cameroon, Ghana, Liberia, Equatorial Guinea, and the Gambia. 72 industry leaders and global experts on an insightful program and scheduled meetings with thousands of invested industry professionals.

SAIPEC is hosted by the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN), and the event stands as not only the largest event in the center of the region’s oil and gas hub but also the only truly industry-led event, held in partnership with the country’s petroleum sector.
