The St. Anthony’s Secondary School Old Students Association (SASSIOSA) is embarking on infrastructure development initiative that will sustain and further improve learning environment for students.
The initiative commenced with facility tour by the old students on 8th June 2025 to assess the level of depreciation of infrastructure and ascertain their intervention.
Led by the President, Sir Ben Duntoye, the delegation was received by the school’s principals, Mr. M.J. Dada and Mrs. B.M. Olanrewaju (Senior and Junior school respectively), and inspected key facilities, including the school lab block, hall, old kitchen, and classrooms.
Duntoye in his address, emphasized the association’s commitment to enhancing the school’s standards, prioritizing infrastructural development to boost the quality of education.
He said a Project Committee comprising professionals in the built sector has been constituted to coordinate this initiative. “We’re here to assess the school’s urgent needs and concentrate our support and intervention. Very soon you are going to feel our impact again with our state of the art projects which will make our Alma mater and our students stand out empowering them compete favourable with their counterparts globally,” Duntoye stated.
The school management expressed gratitude to SASSIOSA for their continuous support, acknowledging the significant impact of various class sets on the school’s survival. Mr. Dada speaking on their behave, encouraged the alumni to sustain their efforts.
The delegatation included, Sir Ben Duntoye (President), Mrs Abimbola Rita Titiloye-Ologe(General Secretary), Mr Dare Kolawole(Assistant General Secretary), Dr Oladimeji Adebayo(PRO), Dr. Olowa Theophilus (Quantity Surveyor, 1992, Arc Omokanye Damola (Architect, 2008), Mr. Steve Aloko (1991) and Dr. Tayo Adenuga (2000)
This visit is part of SASSIOSA’s strategic and broader effort to give back to its alma mater with land mark projects. It may be recalled that various class sets of the school old students association and individuals have over the years supported the school in infrastructural development, educational, sports and social activities.
