Sirius Petroleum has entered a milestone contract for provision of an integrated services management (ISM) with Schlumberger, an oilfield services company.
The contract is a multi-well campaign and part of Sirius shallow offshore development strategy in Nigeria, a campaign that is expected to start by the first half of next year.
Under the contract, Schlumberger will provide Sirius with an all-inclusive package of managed and integrated products and services.
It includes directional drilling services, logging, completion and production fluids, cementing and pumping services.
The package also comprises well management products and services that involve stimulation, testing, well site communications with data and software solutions.
It also also encompasses a drilling programme on the Ororo Field, which can be extended to other potential offshore assets.

Following execution of the agreement with Schlumberger, Sirius is now in advanced discussions to finalise the participation of the last member of the consortium and intends to announce further details in due course regarding the final elements of financing and operational service agreements.
