OTL AFRICA Poised For Greater Industry Impact- Akabogu

As the 9th Oil Trading and Logistics (OTL Africa) Downstream Week draw closer, Chairman of OTL Africa Downstream, Mr. Emeka Akabogu has again stressed that this year’s event is poised for greater industry impact and shall host the creme of the continent’s downstream oil and gas industry.

Over 4000 delegates, speakers, exhibitors and visitors are expected to participate in the three days of business extravaganza which has as its highlights a showcase industry exhibition with leading industry and support service brands, a strategic conference with 11 sessions and over 50 industry thought and decision leaders, an Opening Cocktail on the backdrop of the starlit Lagos Lagoon, 3 networking luncheons, and an exclusive Downstream Industry Dinner.

This is in addition to the “OTL DOWNSTREAM INNOVATION CHALLENGE” which is geared towards encouraging excellence in research and innovation for downstream petroleum in Nigeria, focusing on technological solutions relevant to problems in the downstream petroleum value chain including: refining, pipelines, storage, blending, lubricants, petrochemicals, trading, marketing, distribution, logistics, retail and other relevant areas.

Oil Trading and Logistics Africa (Downstream) Week is a Pan-African initiative dedicated to promotion of business, policy, and stakeholder relationships in downstream petroleum markets across the continent.

It achieves its goals through strategic government and business liaison, research and advocacy with a focus on effective industry solutions.

To encourage excellence in research and innovation for downstream petroleum, OTL Downstream Development in Africa Ltd./Gte, the organizer of Africa’s premier downstream petroleum event The Oil Trading and Logistics Expo has instituted the OTL DOWNSTREAM INNOVATION AWARDS
