Overland Airways, has explained that water dipping from cooling vents of aircraft do not pose any danger.
The company said such occurence has no safety implications and as such should not bother anyone.
Reacting to report from a section of the media with regard to momentary water dripping in one of its aircraft on arrival from a flight a month ago, the management said that experienced travellers will testify that occasional water dripping from the cooling system is not an uncommon occurrence in airliners flying all over the world, and will also affirm that it is not in any way a safety issue.
In a statement the airline said,” We confirm the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has diligently inspected the aircraft, certified its airworthiness and educated the general public via various mass media on the cosmetic nature of the occurrence.
We are therefore shocked at the malicious defamation, demarketing and cheap publicity that has followed.
