The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emerged victorious in all the three senatorial districts in Rivers State National Assembly elections.
In the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, the PDP candidates elected in the districts are George Sekibo (Rivers East), Bari Mpigi (Rivers South East) and Betty Apiafi (Rivers West), the first female senator from Rivers State.
Other results from the governorship poll declared by INEC are:Emohua LGA, AAC/APC 2,856, PDP 71,522, Etche LGA, AAC/APC 7,437, PDP 11,842
Meanwhile, INEC has said it will continue the collation of results by 10am on Wednesday.
