The Lagos State Police spokesperson DSP Bala Elkana has said that police in the state has arrested a girl over the death of a 47 years old woman.
According to Elkana “on 28/02/2020 at about 1000hrs, one Afeez Oloande ‘male’ of No. 2 Ado Road, Ajah Lekki and one Femi Olasunde ‘male’ reported at Elemero Police Station that on the 27/02/2020 at about 1800hrs at Aiyeteju-Ofiran town, Ibeju Lekki, one Opeyemi Abidemi ‘female’ 20 years old had a fight with one Abosede Bello ‘female’ 47 years old.
“That during the scuffle, the said Abosede Bello slumped and was rushed to Akodo General Hospital where she died on 28/02/2020 at about 0900hrs”
Elkana stated that the corpse was deposited at Epe General Hospital mortuary for post mortem examination and that the suspect has been arrested and the suspect will be charged to Court.
