Police Arrests Pastor For Child Trafficking

The General Overseer of Mount Sinai Ministry, Madam Gloria, has been arrested for her alleged involvement in child trafficking in Rivers state.

Rescued from the suspect were 16 pregnant women awaiting delivery in her church, after which the babies would be sold.

The state Commissioner of Police, Zaki Ahmed, who paraded the suspects at the weekend in Port Harcourt, said that one of the girls put to bed shortly after the arrest.

Ahmed disclosed that the general overseer of the new generation church was arrested in Rukpokwu, Ikwerre Local Government Area of the state, adding that she had been into the business of child trafficking and sale for a while.

The police commissioner added that arrangements have been made with the Omega Power Ministry (OPM) in the state to accept and rehabilitate the pregnant women.
