The Area L Command of Lagos State Police Command has stepped up community policing to bring to action words of the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu.
The Area Command Lagos under the leadership of ACP Ben Osuji, embarked on show force to assure residents of safety and security of lives and property and to send message to criminal elements of police readiness to match action for action to ensure crime free yuletide.
This is part of the marching order given by the Commissioner of police Lagos State Hakeem Odumosu who has directed his men to ensure they give criminality a hot pursuit in Lagoaians can enjoy this season without stress.
“We covered Ituagan, Ilado Ilashe, ibeshe, igbologun and environs”, during the exercise, the Command said.
According to Osuji, the community leaders applauded police presence and appreciated the Area Commander ACP Ben Osuji and the Lagos State Commisioner of Police CP Hakeem Odumosu for bringing the police closer to the communities.
