Police Rescues Kidnapped Foreigner In Ibadan

The Oyo Police Command, have rescued a foreigner, Hassan Mills, who was kidnapped on Saturday.

Mills, a Lebanese, was kidnapped by gunmen at about 5:23pm at the entrance of his Panarama Farm; located in Mekun, Oke Alaro area of Ibadan.

The development was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, Oyo State Command; SP Olugbenga Fadeyi, in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday in Ibadan.

Fadeyi said information from the Divisional Police Officer in Oke Alaro indicated that Mills had been rescued; adding that he had been reunited with his family.

He said that the victim had been taken to a hospital for medical attention and also denied reports that Police officers involved in the rescue operation were kidnapped.

“No police officer involved in the rescue operation was kidnapped…The trending statement from mischievous writers online should be disregarded please,” he said.
