Police operatives from the Zonal Monitoring Unit of the Zone 2 Police Command Headquarters Onikan Lagos have stormed suspected miscreants hideout that specializes in criminal activities at Offin in Ikorodu and arrested one Sanni Abiodun ‘M’ age 29yrs of Araromi Street, Offin Town Igbogbo Ikorodu, Lagos.
According to DSP Hauwa Idris-Adamu, Zonal Police Public Relations, Zone2 Command HQ, Onikan Lagos, “The suspect was arrested with a large quantity of substance suspected to be Indian hemp. When interrogated, he made a voluntary confessional statement to the Police of being in possession of a locally made pistol and 6 rounds of live cartridges which the group uses for their operations and they were all recovered from him.”
Also he confessed that one Babajide who is their Boss usually supplies them with the weed found in his possession.
Meanwhile efforts are on to nab the so-called Babajide who is currently at large, Idris-Adamu said.
