The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has paid the sum of N278,097,250.31 (Two Hundred and Seventy Eight Million, Ninety Seven Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Naira, Thirty one Kobo) to 338 Next of Kins of the Deceased Civil Service Pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme.
The agency explained that the Next of Kins who are beneficiaries of deceased Civil Service Pensioners who died after service, duly completed the process of documentation and have been cleared for payment by Federal Auditors.
The timely payment was achieved through diligent verification exercise conducted by the Directorate to authenticate genuine Noks before payment is made.
