Rite Foods Limited, Nigeria’s leading food and beverage company, is joining millions around the world to celebrate International Workers’ Day 2026, recognising the resilience, dedication, and everyday contributions of Nigerian workers.

This year’s theme, “Empowering Workers in a Changing World,” speaks to an important reality that people remain at the centre of every meaningful success story. For Rite Foods, it is also a reminder that behind every product, innovation, and milestone are employees whose hard work and commitment continue to drive the company forward.

At Rite Foods, creating a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired has always been a priority. Across its production lines, distribution network, and corporate offices, the company continues to invest in an environment that encourages growth, recognises excellence, and promotes shared success.

Speaking on the significance of Workers’ Day, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Rite Foods Limited, Seleem Adegunwa, said the company’s achievements are deeply connected to the commitment of its people.

“The dedication of our workforce is central to our growth as a company. Every day, our people show up with a strong sense of responsibility and passion in what they do. Workers’ Day gives us the opportunity to appreciate their efforts and reaffirm our commitment to creating the right environment for them to thrive,” he said.

He added that the company’s approach to excellence extends beyond its products.

“At Rite Foods, we believe that when people feel respected and empowered, they give their best. That belief continues to shape our culture, leadership, and growth as a proudly Nigerian brand.”

Over the years, Rite Foods has built a strong reputation for delivering quality products that meet the evolving needs of consumers. Its portfolio, which includes Bigi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Bigi Table Water, Sosa Fruit Drink, Fearless Energy Drinks, and its sausage roll variants, reflects the company’s commitment to quality, innovation, and consistency.

Also speaking, the Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Rite Foods Limited, Ekuma Eze, noted that Workers’ Day is also a moment to recognise the collective effort behind the company’s success.

“It is important to celebrate the people who make the work possible. Beyond the products, it is the commitment of our teams that help us continue to deliver value to Nigerians. We remain focused on building a culture that respects people, encourages growth, and rewards excellence,” he stated.

As industries continue to evolve, Rite Foods remains committed to strengthening its workforce, improving workplace standards, and ensuring employees continue to find purpose, growth, and opportunity within the organisation.
