Shettima Leads Condolence Visit to Governor Ododo ……Eulogizes Late Patriarch

The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Alh. Kashim Shettima led a high-powered delegation to Kogi State to condole with Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo over the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo. Upon arrival,
 The Vice President was warmly received by the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu, and several high-ranking officials at the Obajana Airstrip.
While speaking with Newsmen, the Vice President Shettima described the late Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani as “a man of deep faith and remarkable humility whose life of service to God and humanity continues to reflect in the leadership qualities of his son, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. He urged the Governor and the entire Ododo family to be consoled by the fact that their father lived a fulfilled life, leaving behind enduring legacies of discipline, truthfulness, and compassion.
His visit highlights the significance of the late Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani’s legacy and the esteem in which he was held by both the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the people of Kogi State. The condolence visit is a gesture of solidarity with Governor Ododo and his family during this difficult time.
Governor Ododo expressed profound appreciation to the Vice President for personally visiting despite his tight schedule. He noted that the gesture was not just a show of solidarity to his family but also a demonstration of the Vice President’s commitment to the values of unity and compassion.
The Vice President was accompanied by Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, reflecting the high esteem in which the late Alhaji Momohsani was held across the nation.
