Tegbe Foundation has concluded its Empowerment Initiative tagged #JTstrikesDiamond with a colorful Closing Ceremony in Ibadan, marking the successful disbursement of direct financial support to 60 small businesses and social enterprises across Oyo State, the majority of them youth-led. Under the Initiative, the 60 beneficiaries each received grants between ₦100,000 and ₦500,000.

The Initiative was conceived to celebrate the 60th birthday of the Founder of Tegbe Foundation, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, and its Presentation Ceremony was convened in commemoration of International Youth Day, reflecting the Foundation’s continued commitment to youth development and enterprise. According to the Executive Director of Tegbe Foundation, Mr Femi Adeleke, “This is more than support, it’s an investment in youth development, entrepreneurship, and a stronger economic future.”

The Closing Ceremony drew a distinguished gathering of stakeholders, government representatives, and community leaders, including Oloye Denrele Lekan-Salami (Ajia Balogun Olubadan), Engr. Bode Johnson, Mr Femi Adeleke (Executive Director, Tegbe Foundation), Hon. Hafiz Oladejo (Special Adviser to the Honourable Minister on Stakeholder Engagement), Asiwaju Tayo Alabi, Chief Mrs Funmilayo Arulogun, Hon. Inaolaji Akinloye, and Hon. Raji Draj Ademola, several of whom delivered goodwill messages affirming strong support for the Foundation’s work.

The Initiative achieved its stated objective of empowering 60 beneficiaries across the state, delivering measurable economic support to youth-led enterprises while reinforcing Tegbe Foundation’s standing as a credible platform for youth and enterprise development.

Tegbe Foundation is a philanthropic organisation committed to youth development, entrepreneurship, and community empowerment across Oyo State, Nigeria.
