The African entertainment scene roared with the 2024 African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs), celebrating the continent’s boldest creative talents in film, fashion and cultural richness. At the heart of this renowned event was Tiger Beer, the premium lager beer brand that spotlights audacious self-expression and youthful energy.

As a proud sponsor, Tiger Beer ignited the two-day celebration with its uncaged spirit, championing artistic voices and empowering the next generation of storytellers. From pulsating red carpet experiences to awe-inspiring performances, the 2024 AMVCAs were a powerful platform for African creativity to shine, fueled by Tiger Beer’s refreshing and daring essence.

The festivities kicked off with an insightful workshop for the Multichoice Talent Factory on Friday, May 10th, setting the stage for the vibrant Culture Day in the evening. Guests were adorned in eye-catching cultural attire that reflected Africa’s rich heritage, making it a night of glamour and authenticity, as they were refreshed with Tiger Beer cocktails.

On the main awards night, Tiger Beer brand ambassador Noble Igwe interviewed celebrities and other guests present, giving them a chance to unleash their inner RAWR with the ‘My RAWR Outfit’ competition, where celebrities Neo Akpofure and Diane Russet were both rewarded for the best male and female looks with N500,000 each, earning them the title ‘King and Queen of RAWR’ – a testament to Tiger Beer’s commitment to celebrating bold self-expression.

The night reached its crescendo with the presentation of the 2024 Multichoice Talent Factory Movie Award by Grace Omo-Lamai, Director of Human Resources at Nigerian Breweries. The winning movie, ‘Her Dark Past,’ received a N1 million cash prize sponsored by the premium beer brand supporting their dreams and propelling them towards greater creative heights.

The AMVCAs ended with an unforgettable Afterparty, courtesy of Tiger Beer. The brand brought the heat with dance queen and brand ambassador Liquorose and her crew, captivating attendees with show-stopping performances. The atmosphere pulsed with music and dance, capturing Tiger Beer’s spirit of uncaged energy, leaving a lasting impression on all who witnessed it.

Tiger Beer’s sponsorship of the AMVCAs was a statement of its commitment to nurturing African creativity and fashion, inspiring greatness, and empowering the next generation of creatives. While the AMVCAs have concluded, Tiger Beer’s roar continues to resonate, reminding us that African creativity is forever uncaged, bold, and refreshing – qualities that the premium brand proudly embodies and champions.
