The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Esther Didi Walson Jack will formally declare open a three day Master Class for senior government officials on 4th November, 2024.

The program which will hold at the Nigerian Army Resource Centre, Asokoro, is to train public sector leaders on good Governance’ and modern trends in leadership

The special Master Class leading to the award of certificate from the University of London is to be held in Abuja and Lagos.

The Director General, DG of The Progressive Institute, TPI Lanre Adebayo, PhD stated this in Abuja on Friday.

According to the DG ”the masterclass is a joint initiative of our Institute, TPI, the London School of Economics (a College of the University of London) and Messrs Brain Box Labs. It focuses on two main themes which are: governance and Leadership”

The three-day Masterclass, according to Dr. Adebayo is being organized against the background of the need to upskill people in leadership positions at both the public and private sectors in both the developed and emerging economies of the world. The program will improve the knowledge of the participants in governance and leadership. This according to TPI DG is critical to the sustainable development of the advance economies and fundamental to the growth of the emerging world economies. The Masterclass is therefore a major contribution to the efforts to address contemporary global challenges through providing best practices in the key areas of governance, policy implementations and good governance.

The programme is designed to increase leadership capacity of Senators, Honourable Members of the House of Representatives, Chief Executive Officers of Ministries, Departments and Agencies, Board Members, Political figures and Senior officials of government.

A major advantage of the Masterclass includes the fact that participants will be taught by some of the world experts in the two fields from the staple of the University of London. In addition, participants will have the privilege of obtaining a globally recognized certificate of one of the topmost Universities in the world, the University of London.

London School of Economics (LSE), a globally renowned institution, stands as a beacon of excellence, particularly in the social sciences. Its distinguished faculty and alumni, which include Nobel Prize laureates and prominent global political figures, reflect the academic and research excellence for which the London School of Economics (LSE) is known.

Dr. Adebayo added that more details about the Masterclass are available on the training brochure which could be obtained at TPI office, No. 3 Ringim close, off Yola Street, Area 7, Garki, Abuja.
