In a release signed by the University’s country representative in Nigeria, Dr Cliff Ogbede, Lviv University for Business and Law has the highest Ivy level of accreditation and is one of the leading educational institutions in Eastern Europe in training highly qualified personnel for the economic sector, law, international relations, and journalism. Also, the University has joined the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), a global initiative that brings higher educational institutions together with the United Nations to actively support ten globally recognized principles related to human rights, literacy, sustainable development and conflict resolution.
Considering the current pandemic that has limited international travels, Dr Ogbede stated that the conferment will be done in Abuja by the representatives of the University, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Nigeria, through their Nigerian partner agency, FTAISA Skills & Entrepreneurship Centre/Baumat GmbH.
The program will equally witness high level engagements in expanding future cooperation between the University and Nigeria. And the focus will be to offer educational support that will improve skills and manpower development of Nigerian students, workers and business people.
Dr Ogbede stated that part of what makes the University unique is that prominent scholars from Germany, Poland and other European countries regularly give lectures at the Lviv University of Business and Law and the event will be a platform to engage stakeholders towards offering foreign scholarships to Nigerian students who qualify for studies.
