Unilever Recommends N189.16 Million Dividend in 2015 Audited Year End

Soap and detergent producer, Unilever Nigeria Plc said on Thursday it has recommended N189.16 Million dividend to its shareholders for the 2014 audited financial year end.

The company in its corporate action filed with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) said the N189.61 million amounts to five (5) kobo gross per share dividend.

The soap and detergent maker said closure of register of members is Monday April 11 to Friday April 15, 2016 for the purpose of preparation of dividend payment.

Unilever added that if the proposed dividend is approved at the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM), payment will be on May 13, 2016.

Shares of the soap producer at the close of the week’s trading on the Nigerian bourse climbed up 4.99 percent to N30.92 from N29.45 traded the previous week; losing N1.47 per share.
